The Community of Guardians of Rome is a tiny, economically powerful nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 6 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
The tiny government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 2%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling, Soda Sales, and Beef-Based Agriculture industries.
Voting is voluntary. Crime is a serious problem. Guardians of Rome's national animal is the cow, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the dollar.
