Hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in Pantocrator's many privately-owned prisons, pristine wilderness has been trashed in the quest for cheaper oil, employers may fire workers without giving any reason, and Pantocrator's fine wines are renowned throughout the region. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Pantocrator's national animal is the bicephalous eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the anonymous folles.
